Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy

A reservation is binding for both the guest and the property.
Upon booking, the guest’s credit card will be charged with NOK 500,-. The rest of the amount for the stay will be charged 4 weeks before arrival.
If the reservation is made later than 4 weeks prior to arrival, the full amount will be charged immediately.

If you require longer and/or repeated stays, please contact office@bakkegata.com for contract prices!

Children

Children below the age of 3 who sleep in the bed of another person stay for free.
So, please select the number of paying persons when entering the number of guests in the booking form. Children under the age of 3 who sleep in their parents’ beds are listed further down in the booking form.
For children under the age of 12 who sleep in their own bed we will subtract a discount of NOK 300, – per night from the regular price.
A cot can be ordered at a price of NOK 100, –

Parking

Because of limited capacity, our parking spaces will only be available to guests who have booked a stay in our apartments. We recommend our guests in the dormitory if necessary, to use public parking spaces.

Changes

Any subsequent changes to the reservation cannot be made via this booking form. Please contact the hotel management by email at office@bakkegata.com.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellations, the amount paid will not be refunded.
In case of a cancellation earlier than 4 weeks prior to arrival, the NOK 500,- paid earlier will be used to cover the cancellation cost.
Also, if cancelled later than 4 weeks before arrival, the payment for the stay will not be refunded.

House Rules

  • The whole house is a non-smoking area.
  • Please do not use shoes inside the apartments.
  • No pets allowed. All our rooms are allergy friendly.
  • Because of limited capacity, our parking spaces will only be available to guests who have booked a stay in our apartments. We recommend our guests in the dormitory if necessary, to use public parking spaces.
  • Kindly always leave the key in the box when leaving the room.
  • Check-in starts at 4 pm. For earlier check-in, please contact us, and we will do our best.
  • Check-out at the latest is at noon.
  • We appreciate a text message to +47 90121486 when checking out.
  • We kindly ask you to tidy and clean the kitchen after use, and when needed, start the dishwasher before you leave the apartment.
  • Please leave the apartment in tidy condition.
  • Guests need to be quiet between 10 pm and 7 am.
  • No visitors in the apartments after 8 pm.
  • Parties/events are not allowed, as it may disturb other guests.
  • We do not take responsibility for our guests’ belongings.
  • If the fire alarm, elevator alarm and/or other emergency services are triggered by the guests, you will be charged a fee to cover the costs.
  • Damage to equipment and other inventory and installations must be reported and compensated. Guests are financially liable for any damage caused by recklessness or carelessness. This counts for, but is not limited to, repairing damages or loss of income. If something were to be damaged, we ask you to kindly contact the management to solve the issue. We reserve the right to charge in arrears if the damage is discovered after the guests have travelled.
  • Our guests are financially liable for their visitors!
  • Force Majeure: If Bakkegata – The Blue House is not able to accommodate you according to our agreement due to unforeseen circumstances such as strike or lockout, fire, war, national martial law, natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances, Bakkegata – The Blue house may not be held accountable.
  • We recommend that our guests have proper travel insurance.
